HMG+ President Karen DiPeri won an award from the Society for Hospitality and Foodservice Management! Each year, the SHFM Directors’ Awards recognize special honorees that have gone “above and beyond” to serve the association and better our industry. The Spirit Award is presented to an individual who consistently demonstrates the qualities of loyalty, dedication and enthusiasm for the Society. Karen was presented the Spirit Award during SHFM’s National Conference Awards Ceremony, held in Miami last month. During her acceptance speech, Karen took the time to show her “spirit” and snap a selfie with the crowd!
