George’s hospitality experience began in College when he was studying Aerospace Technology at SUNY Farmingdale, Long Island. While enrolled, he was hired as a room service cashier for the Huntington Hilton Hotel. Soon after, he was promoted to room service waiter where he was trained by top hospitality professionals. While pursuing his degree to become a licensed pilot, he had an epiphany and decided to truly follow his heart.

Moving back to the city, George began working for Nikko Essex House Hotel as a bellman, where he gained experience with one-on-one guest relations. There, he met many celebrities / artist and realized that he too, could make his dream of being an actor, a reality.  He left the hotel industry for the restaurant industry which allowed him to attend  the prestigious acting conservatory -William Esper Studios.

While nurturing the craft of acting, he also embraced hospitality as an art form. Realizing that guests where his “audience”, he gained a love for making people happy and exceeding expectations through his acting training of moment to moment. Connected to HMG+ through the restaurant business, he now pursues acting on a full level because of the flexibility that this industry provides.

“What I find most satisfying about being a Captain, is learning. There is always something to learn. When you allow your team to put in their ideas, opinions on different challenges, or just even to communicate on making the guest experience a memorable one, it opens up the door to so much more. There is no I, in TEAM!” said George.
