Jacob was born and raised in Tucson, AZ and studied Theater Performance in Seattle. Jacob moved to New York 5 years ago to continue developing his career as an actor/singer. “I’m not very good at sitting still or ‘waiting for my big break’, which has led me to pursue many ventures and vocations along the way. Everything from opening four youth hostels across NYC, and a coffee shop in Brooklyn to teaching competitive fencing and stage combat weekends in NJ!” said Jacob. “I’ve also had the pleasure of performing all over the city including Feinstein’s 54 Below, The Town Hall, Symphony Space and others.”

When Jacob was 15, he almost always worked in some kind of food service, holding every position from dishwasher to general manager, from pizza places to 5 star fine dinning. A year ago he came back to the service industry and HMG+ was the perfect match. “I love the flexibility of the schedule. Everyone in the office is so approachable that it makes it easy to work as much or as little as I need. I love changing locations each day and getting to meet amazing new coworkers at every gig. I was originally referred by a friend and I’ve made many friends since. I sincerely feel like part of a family when I go to work.” Jacob explained.
